NAT+GLO TRAVEL // PORTLAND

Our mini trip to PDX after our "I do's" were said.

This city pampered us with good food, good coffee, bookstores, record stores, friendly locals, and a highly efficient transit system!  Nathanael and I are different in more ways than one, so our common love for coffee, books, and all things edible are true blessings. BUT you know what's an even bigger blessing? The fact that God set aside this trip, JUST for us. Let's just say...we were giddy the whole trip through :) He cares for His children. He delights in our delight in Him.

Powell's City of Books Bookstore was by far our favourite spot. Known to be one of the largest bookstores in the world. We spent two full days in here. Sitting on the floor with stacks of books...reading until our vision got blurry. Loved every minute of it...

We were busy trying our best to "be in the moment", but still managed to take A LOT of photos of food...

Don't know if you can tell, but my heat-stroking/lactose intolerant husband couldn't be more excited to shove that cold ice cream in his face.
